Thank God it's First Friday Young Adult Mass and Dinner

TGIFF is a Mass focused on bringing a sense of understanding, reverence and community to Catholic young adults in the Treasure Valley.  The mass will feature innovative music, education on the liturgy, and a community dinner afterwards with a focus on the Gospel message presented during the Mass.

"First Fridays" is a devotional custom of receiving the Eucharist on the first Friday of nine consecutive months. The custom originated in a promise revealed by Christ to Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-90), a nun of the Visitation order. Over a period of 18 months, beginning in December 1673, Christ revealed to her this new devotion centered on his Sacred Heart, a fire with love for humanity. According to Margaret Mary, those keeping the First Fridays will not die in sin or without the sacraments, and Christ will be their refuge at the moment of death.
