Welcome to an Exciting Opportunity!
Come and take part in our ministry, the seven catholic parishes of Ada County are supporting this outreach to all catholic and interested young adults in the Treasure Valley.  Check out the opportunities our programs and events can provide you.  I think you will find something for everyone.  Our Bishop, Michael Driscoll, has called us to be "All at the Table" and it is my fervent prayer that young adults from all over the Treasure Valley regardless of your level of affiliation or experience with the Catholic church, will come to the waters of this ministry and drink from the cup of life that is Jesus Christ.  You do not need to knock because our door is always open!  May God bless you and keep you!

Always In the Service of Christ,
Robert Barros-Bailey Jr.,
Director, Treasure Valley Young Adult Ministry

Thank GOD it's First Friday (TGIFF)
is a Mass focused on bringing a sense of understanding, reverence and community to Catholic young adults in the Treasure Valley.  The mass will feature innovative music, education on the liturgy, and a community dinner afterwards with a focus on the Gospel message presented during the Mass.

Spirit and Truth
is a time for young adults to come before God with their worries, troubles, sins and questions, in the company of like-minded people in search of the truth. Because of the intense prayer that occurs at a Spirit & Truth meeting, many people feel very clear and peaceful upon departing. It resembles a mini-retreat. Young adult life can also be a lonely time for many. Spirit & Truth becomes a very consoling place for those who desire to be in the company of others who are also in similar places in their lives. Rather than provide merely social events, this initiative offers young adults (18-40 or the young at heart) the opportunity to go deep in their relationship with God while forming relationships that are rooted in more than good food and drink. The young adults who attend Spirit & Truth will undoubtedly find peace in Christ, bonded friendships, the truths of our faith and life in the Holy Spirit.

Trinity Retreat for Young Adults
is a weekend experience in Christian living designed for young adults (ages 18-35). Participants spend time listening, laughing, singing, reflecting, and discussing things about themselves, others and God.  Participants will experience the Trinity through a week-end of three.  three groups, three different activities - done three times, three meals, three liturgies, three discussions, three teachings, three activities, and three goals for spiritual development.

Treasure Valley Catholic Sports
is a activities-based ministry serving young adults through high-quality, efficiently run, coed*  sporting events. We are committed to enriching the lives of participants spiritually and socially. While geared toward Catholics, we welcome participants from all faiths, our activities are co-ed and are open to all skill levels and to those newer to a sport who simply want to enjoy Christian fellowship.

Covenant House Vigil for Homeless Youth
is an event that seeks to keep the light of hope burning for homeless youth as part of the Annual Candlelight Vigil being organized by Covenant House International. The vigil coincides with National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week in November of each year.  Treasure valley Young Adult Ministry invites the public to join the Candlelight Vigil in November of 2009

Council for Leadership Among Young adults (CLAY)
is a team of  faith-filled young adults who want to make a difference by serving this ministry not only within their parish, but, throughout the valley by bringing a commitment of leadership to young adult ministry.
